Congratulations To All Winter Athletes

Congratulations to the Sauquoit Valley Winter Athletes on a very successful year, athletically and academically.

Specifically, our Boys and Girls Volleyball teams played very well in sectional play. The teams highlighted their season with incredible records as they prepared to go for Section titles.

The Girls team started with a win over Little Falls followed by a heartbreaking loss to Faith Heritage 3-2, in the Section Semi-Final.

The Boys team ended their regular season with a loss to a very strong Little Falls team. This loss set up a re-match in the first round of the Sectionals. Sauquoit Valley emerged from this contest with a 3-2 win.

The next game - for the Section Crown - was with a solid Mt. Markham team that beat Sauquoit Valley twice during the regular season. Sauquoit Valley won this game with a 3-2 score, and momentum for the Regional competition.

The final game for the Boys was for the Regional title game versus Maple Hill. The goal to win a Section and Region title was realized as Sauquoit Valley won 3-1.

As one season ends, another begins. The question is, "Which spring sport teams will continue the success"?
