Bienvenidos a la clase de Español
Señorita FlemmaClassroom procedures
We come to class prepared. By doing so, it will be much easier to follow the lessons and move ahead without being lost or distracted. That means having all materials and always completing homework assignments to the best of your ability.
•- A 3-ringed binder with dividers
•- A spiral notebook
•- A pen or pencil
We all start on time. If everyone is on time, we all learn more without any interruptions. Problem lateness or unexcused absenteeism will reduce your class participation grade and may lead to disciplinary action.
Once we are here, we stay here. Again, this procedure will help us all become better Spanish speakers, because every time you leave you miss something. Leaving the room for any reason requires a pass. Plan carefully when to go to the bathroom, sharpen pencils, etc, because opportunities will bevery limited.
One person speaks at a time. Then we can all hear what they are saying. They get their chance to participate, and you will probably learn something or answer one of your own questions from what they say. The only exception to this is during a partner or group activity. We raise hands to speak, and no one speaks when the teacher is speaking.
We ask our friends or the teacher when we need help. There are no dumb questions!
If you are absent, you are responsible for getting make-up work. You have one day to complete each day's missed work. If there is something you do not understand, ask a classmate or see the teacher. This is your responsibility.
We keep the room clean.
We expect EVERYONE to succeed!
I agree to abide by the grading policies and classroom procedures set by Miss Flemma.
